Besiktas goalkeeper Loris Karius not giving up on Liverpool futureby Paul Vegas20 days agoSend to a friendShare the loveBesiktas goalkeeper Loris Karius isn’t giving up on a future with Liverpool. The German is in the second of a two season loan with Besiktas. And he says, “Will I be playing for Liverpool again? Of course, it’s an opportunity and it’s still a good opportunity to be there. Maybe I’ll play for them again, you never know.”There is a long time to go and if it does not become Liverpool, it will be another good team, so I’m not worried about that.”I’m not thinking about Kiev (the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid) anymore. It’s been a long time since now, almost two seasons. There were so many circumstances. I had an ugly injury and nobody talked about it. People can say whatever they want; it no longer worries me.” TagsTransfersLoan MarketAbout the authorPaul VegasShare the loveHave your say
ANN ARBOR, MI – OCTOBER 17: Head coach Jim Harbaugh of the Michigan Wolverines reacts during the college football game against the Michigan State Spartans at Michigan Stadium on October 17, 2015 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Spartans defeated the Wolverines 27-23. It seems like the prospects are touring Ann Arbor with UM head coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Tim Drevno. Upshur posted a funny video on Twitter, featuring the group walking in Ann Arbor and a quick shot of Harbaugh with his hat pulled low, mean-mugging the camera. Four-star 2016 WR Ahmir Mitchell and four-star 2016 DE Ron Johnson are also shown, as is 2017 offensive lineman Cesar Ruiz.Once again, Harbaugh is a character.walking the Ann Arbor streets with coach Harbaugh pic.twitter.com/JcEfjI2my7— Pop (@NaseirUpshur) June 25, 2015Never change, coach.
Georgia sophomore cornerback Juwuan Briscoe was arrested by university police Saturday night for two traffic-related charges. The Bulldogs’ defensive back was charged with not having a license and not wearing his seatbelt. He made his $1K bail and was released. The arrest did not sit well with former Georgia linebacker Jake Ganus, who played with Briscoe last season. Ganus didn’t think what happened was worthy of an arrest. He called out the university police on Twitter before deleting his tweet. Saturday Down South captured a screenshot of it. SDS.The charges are pretty light, but it’s still not a good look to call out a police force for doing its job. Georgia’s football program has yet to comment on the arrest. Briscoe’s arrest was the fifth by a Bulldogs’ player since Kirby Smart was hired. UGA opens its 2016 season Sept. 3 against North Carolina at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. [SDS]
Kolkata: The Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) on Tuesday handed over 29 stalls to the hawkers in Gariahat, whose stalls were damaged after a massive fire on January 20.”It will take some more time for us to start business as we have to make adjustments for arrangement of these stalls. CESC will be providing the electricity connection, the work for which will start from Wednesday. Mayor Firhad Hakim has also assured us that hawkers will be provided with licence and will be entitled to benefits under Swastha Sathi scheme,” said Abhijit Saha, vice-president of Hawker Sangram Committee. Also Read – Bengal family worships Muslim girl as Goddess Durga in Kumari PujaA KMC official said that the design of the stalls has been made in such a way so that a customer will not get drenched in rain while buying stuff from them. The Central Store of KMC has made the stalls with wheels underneath and fitted them with LED boards at the back for advertisements. The stalls will be placed at a distance of 50 feet from the main road to allow smooth traffic movement. Hakim has instructed the Central Store to make one lakh stalls, which will be given to hawkers in other parts of the city. However, the work will take time as the design of the stalls may not be similar to cater to the requirement of the hawkers in other parts of the city. A group of architects that the civic body had consulted, had suggested that the stalls should not block the signboards of the permanent shops.

Legendary Italian goalkeeper Dino Zoff believes he understands the secret to Gianluigi Donnarumma’s improved form for Milan this season. The AC Milan shot-stopper appears to have overcome the off-field problems that affected him last season as he has gone on to establish himself as Italy’s No 1.“His secret? It’s simple, he became a man,” Zoff, regarded by many as the Azzurri’s greatest-ever shot-stopper after Gianluigi Buffon, told Football Italia via Corriere della Sera.“He’s more aware now, he’s an adult and he’s learning to manage the stages of his life, which are also phases during a match.Zoff also spoke of the resilience of the keeper suggesting he’s not overwhelmed by mistakes. His saves were evident and crucial in Milan’s last clash against AS Roma which helped the team salvage a 1-1 draw in a cagey encounter.Serie A Betting: Match-day 3 Stuart Heath – September 14, 2019 Considering there is a number of perfect starts so early in the Serie A season, as well as a few surprisingly not-so perfect ones….DONNARUMMA WITH THE AMAZING DOUBLE SAVE! Former Inter Milan and AC Milan forward Hernan Crespo believes he had the features of both Mauro Icardi and Gonzalo Higuain during his playing days ahead of the Milan derby.Crespo who played for both Milan clubs shared his thoughts ahead of the big showdown in Milan.“These are two clubs that are almost new and two teams that are still a work in progress,” Crespo told Football Italia.“Inter are at a more advanced stage of their development right now, as after six years they are back in the Champions League and Suning have been working on this project longer than Elliott Management.Report: Inter go top with win over Udinese George Patchias – September 14, 2019 Inter Milan are top of Serie A after beating Udinese to make it three wins out of three.Antonio Conte’s career at Inter Milan, could…“Milan are coming off a chaotic period. With Leonardo and Paolo Maldini as directors, at least they are starting to recreate some of that identity, but they need a few more years to get back to the golden era.”Both Milanese giants rely heavily on an Argentina international centre-forward.“I think Higuain is ideal for Gennaro Gattuso’s tactics. The same goes for Icardi at Inter, as Luciano Spalletti’s wingers are perfect for setting up a deadly finisher like him,” continued Crespo.“I was a mix between the two. I would move like Icardi in front of goal, but participate more in the build-up play like Higuain.”
