Hyderabad: Director General of Police (DGP) M Mahendar Reddy on Thursday held second meeting with On-Shore Security Coordination Committee (OSCC) members. The OSCC was constituted by Government of Telangana with DGP as Chairman and members drawn from Police, Civil Administration and representatives of various Oil Sector Companies in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Government of India to ensure security of oil and gas installations in the State. Various issues concerning the security were discussed including the upcoming projects in Telangana. The DGP exhorted that the entire effort of OSCC would be operationalised so as to get the best out of systemic efforts. The meeting decided to have a focused approach by associating the concerned unit officers namely SPs Nalgonda, Suryapet, DSPs Yadadri, Malkajgiri, CPs Khammam and Warangal. Further, Rachakonda Commissioner directed to have a conference with all his subordinates besides stakeholders to sensitise them on possible consequences of lack of safety.
