The new Note 10-series went official in the country earlier this week at a launch event in Bengaluru. The Galaxy Note 9 successors were up for pre-orders until August 22. They can now be purchased via online platforms and offline stores across India. The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ tout Infinity-O displays, new S Pen, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and a new, efficient Exynos 9825 chipset, among other things.The standard Galaxy Note 10 price in India is set at Rs 69,999 and it comes in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Note 10 comes in three colours – Aura Glow, Aura Red and Aura Black.The Galaxy Note 10+ is offered in two storage variants – 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB – that are priced at Rs 79,999 and Rs 89,999, respectively. The Note 10+ comes in Aura Glow, Aura White and Aura Black.Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series is now available for purchase through online channels like, Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm and Tata CLiQ. They are also on sale at retail outlets across the country including Samsung Opera House in Bengaluru. Launch offers include Rs 6,000 cashback on buying the Note 10 via HDFC credit or debit card via offline stores and Samsung’s online store, or Rs 6,000 cashback on ICICI Bank credit or debit card via e-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon.Additionally, if you buy the Note 10 through Samsung’s online store, you can avail No Cost EMI options, 10 per cent additional exchange bonus and Galaxy Buds worth Rs 9,999 for just Rs 4,999.advertisementSamsung Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+ specificationsThe Galaxy Note 10 series sees two models for the first time. They bring upgrades to design and hardware compared to last year’s Note 9. On the visual front, both the Note 10 phones sport new Infinity-O punch-hole curved displays with extremely thin bezels. The Note 10 and Note 10+ get Gorilla Glass 6 protection on the front and back.The regular Note 10 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ (2280X1080) Dynamic AMOLED display, while the Note 10+ gets a 6.8-inch QHD+ (3040×1440) Dynamic AMOLED display. Both the phones come with HDR10+ certification. The curved rear panel gets a vertical triple and quad camera system on the Note 10 and Note 10+, respectively. The phones also come with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Powering the new Galaxy Note 10 phones is a Exynos 9825 SoC, which is based on a 7nm process for better efficiency. The Note 10 comes with 8GB of RAM while the Note 10+ is offered with 12GB of RAM. Only the Plus-sized model support storage expandability via microSD card (up to 1TB).Samsung has added more cameras to the Note 10 series. The standard model features a triple camera setup that includes a 12-megapixel primary sensor with variable aperture (f/1.5-2.4) and OIS, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS. The Note 10+ gets a similar triple camera system but with an added ToF camera for 3D depth mapping. Additional camera features include Live Focus, Zoom in Mic, Night mode, Super Slo-mo and Super Steady mode for videos.The Note 10 houses a 3,500mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging, while the Note 10+ gets a beefier 4,300mAh battery and supports up to 45W fast charging, although you will need to purchase a 45W charger separately. Both phone support wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare. They run on OneUI based on Android 9 Pie. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C and NFC, among others.The S Pen has also been redesigned. It gets a unibody finish and packs Bluetooth LE support much like the Note 9’s S Pen. A new feature this year is Air Actions, which further lets you use the stylus and perform actions without needing to touch the device. The Note 10 phones also get DeX support for PC that can be enabled using a compatible USB cable.
