That changed with Mark Richt’s abrupt retirement after the season.Gray committed back during an Underclassmen Day last March. He decommitted from The U back in December, after Richt’s decision.Now, Miami is no longer among the favorites to land the four-star class of 2020 cornerback. He’s the No. 51 player in the class of 2020.The site has Gray as the No. 4 cornerback in the country, and the No. 6 player in Florida for the class.Right now, 247’s crystal ball has five analyst predictions in: two for Ohio State, two for Miami, and one for Clemson.In total, Gray claims 26 scholarship offers, per 247. It is unclear what his timetable for a new commitment is, but we have plenty of time. The early signing period is not until December, and national signing day is just under a year away.
