Thnaks goes to Ann McGonagle Meehan and Pauline O’Gara for their continued good work in promoting and organising Scór in the club. Groups and individuals from Fermanagh, Derry and Donegal took part on the night. Topaz Cash for Clubs: the club has signed up for the Topaz Cash for Clubs competition, you get a stamp for every €40 or more you spend on fuel in Topaz. The club needs 300 stamps to be entered in the cash prize draws which total €200,000. Hurling: U14′s on Friday (6pm to 7pm) and U16′s on Friday from 7pm to 8pm. U12 girls football is on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm with the Senior Ladies on Thursdays from 8pm. Despite missing a number of regulars the lads put in a good performance losing out 3-07 to 2-05 in a hard fought game, with Bryan Fegan, Jack Keaney, and Thomas McGowan performing well on the day.Minor Boys Football: Well done to the minors who defeated Bundoran and Kilcar in recent weeks in the league. The boys now play Ardara to decide who tops their group, with this game to be played in the next week. Well done to minor player Dylan Kennedy who is part of the county minor team for the upcoming year.Senior Men’s Football: We have been drawn in group three of the senior men’s championship alongside Glenfin, St Michaels, and Cloughaneely. We play Glenfin away in our first game in late May and the other two games at home later in the Summer. The all county league starts on Sunday March 22nd with a home game against St Michaels, reserve game at 1:30pm and senior game at 3pm. St Eunans at home on Monday April 6thand away to Glenswilly on Sunday April 12th are the next games on what should be a very competitive league. Senior Ladies Football: Well done to the ladies who started their league with an excellent 3-09 to 3-06 win against Buncrana on Sunday morning. They now play Aodh Ruadh in Ballyshannon this Sunday morning.Donegal GAA: A number of club players represented Donegal in recent weeks. Paul Durcan and Karl Lacey played on Sunday in the defeat to Monaghan. Donegal senior ladies team have won four league on the trot in recent weeks with Kate Keaney representing the club. Sophie Doherty, Rebecca Faulkner, Niamh Doherty, Aine Gilespie, and Orlaith Gilespie lost out in the Ulster minor camogie championship last weekend to Monaghan, with club coach Laurence Doherty managing the team. They beat Na Magha from Derry at the weekend in a challenge game.Easter Camp: The club will be hosting another three day Easter Camp this year on the second week of the Easter holidays. The camp will run from the Monday to Wednesday, starting at 10am and finishing at 2pm each day. Any club members, coaches, parents that are able to help out in way should contact Pauric (0860523905) or Laurence (086 7532705).
