Open tender for the arrangement of forest educational trails and lookouts

first_imgAs of today, June 1, 2018, applications for the tender for the type of operation 8.5.2 “Establishment and arrangement of educational trails, lookouts and other minor infrastructure” from measure 8 “Investments in the development of forest areas and improving forest sustainability”, submeasure 8.5 “Support for investments in improving the resilience and environmental value of forest ecosystems”.The purpose of the tender is to allocate funds to projects that will make the recreational, tourist and health functions of forests available (eg construction of educational trails, small recreational facilities, installation of signalization, information boards, shelters, lookouts, etc.) for public purposes.The total amount of available public support funds in this tender is HRK 30.000.000,00Eligible beneficiaries are forest owners, associations of forest owners / forest owners, companies and other legal entities that have public authority and management of forests and forest lands owned by the Republic of Croatia, civil society associations whose field of activity is focused on environmental and nature protection and other legal persons who have public authority under the law, and whose field of activity is focused on the protection of the environment and nature.Eligible investments include works and services related to the establishment and arrangement of paths, rest areas, lookouts, stairs, ladders, canopies, educational and information boards, signposts and the like. The lowest value of support is 5.000 euros, and the highest is 100.000 euros with an aid intensity of up to 100% of the total eligible costs of the project.”In the last tender, 25 beneficiaries applied for projects for which a total of HRK 9,1 million was approved. There are now 30 million available, and I believe there are many more ideas and good stories. Educational trails, lookouts and other forest infrastructure enrich the excursion, recreational and tourist offer of our forests and teach new generations how to properly manage one of the greatest natural treasures we have.. ”Said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia and Minister of Agriculture Tomislav Tolušić.Applications for support can be filled out and submitted in AGRONET from June 1, 2018 from 12:00 to August 2, 2018 until 12:00.
