At yesterday’s Fort St. John City Council meeting, Council approved a recommendation that will see a transitional community gathering space placed on the vacant lot at the corner of 100 Street and 100 Avenue. The space will be covered in grass with a gravel path. There will be six benches, and waste bins along the path.It’s estimated that the project will be completed by the end of July at a cost of $40,000, however the seeded areas will take until next spring to mature.
